Are you driven by delivering equitable place shaping and a desire to develop progressive masterplans?
We have a number of town centre strategies, place plans and masterplans delivering meaningful change for the communities that need it most, focused on spatial justice and addressing the climate crisis. We are looking for a new team member to develop ambitious, innovative designs in collaboration with the public sector, charities and local communities.
About the role
We are looking for an Urban Designer to join our team in our London or Manchester office. We are seeking a candidate capable of working on high profile spatial strategies and regeneration schemes across the UK in a client-facing role.
You will have experience in managing projects and have an ability to develop and nurture strong working relationships with clients and collaborators. You will be comfortable in managing your time across projects, strategy development and wider practice initiatives.
The ideal candidate will be an experienced Urban Designer, responsible for delivering complex place plans and area strategies at a range of scales across the capital and the UK. You will have an informed understanding of town centre strategies with a working knowledge of policy guidelines and wider political, economic and societal issues.
Salary: £38,538 - £45,338 per annum (plus company benefits)
Hours: 37.5 per week (but open to flexibility for the ideal candidate)

We’re looking for a resourceful, detail orientated and motivated Studio and Finance Coordinator to join us and support our team of architects, urban designers and researchers in our London office.
If you’re someone that thrives in a productive and fast paced studio environment and is keen to gain knowledge and experience in the different operational aspects of our practice, then we want to hear from you.
About the role
Studio and Finance Coordinator
The Studio and Finance coordinator role is incredibly varied, so adaptability and flexibility will be required to meet the wide spectrum of requirements required to ensure the smooth running of the office and provide wider team and project support. The ideal candidate will enjoy managing a diverse workload and be capable of working closely with the practice leadership and wider team. This role includes hands-on tasks across financial administration and office management, quality assurance, IT support and ad hoc project support.
Whilst you may not have experience in all of these areas, we’re looking for a driven candidate keen to expand their knowledge and skill set as part of this exciting role. Ideally you’ll have prior experience of office or practice administration at a small/ medium-sized professional services business.
Salary: £28,784 - £39,731 per annum, dependent on experience (plus company benefits)
Hours: 37.5 per week (but open to flexibility for the ideal candidate) We expect this to be a full time role but can accommodate different working patterns at lesser hours.
