We Made That and Stockdale cost consultants have been appointed by the London Borough of Tower Hamlets to undertake a feasibility study for a collection of open spaces in the South Isle of Dogs. These spaces include - amongst others - Mudchute Park and Farm, Millwall Park and Island Gardens.
The aim of the feasibility study is to provide a clear vision, identify tangible projects and allow for co-ordinated delivery of proposals. Findings and proposals will be rooted in a public engagement programme, and we have recently completed a walking workshop with local stakeholders. Through this, we have gained very useful insight to how the spaces are used, current shortcomings and how the spaces as well as the connections between them could be improved. Public events will also be held in June to gather more views on priorities.
