07-05-2020 | North Vauxhall Public Realm
We Made That has secured the commission to design a public realm delivery plan for North Vauxhall, central London, on behalf of Lambeth Council. The practice will lead a team – including Urban Movement, Civic Engineers, Dr James Hitchmough and Stockdale (surveyors) – which will define the publicly accessible space between buildings, from alleyways and streets to squares and open spaces.
The commission will identify a range of public realm improvements that could be brought forward at a variety of scales and levels of intervention. The team will develop concept and developed designs for selected projects. This will be informed through a co-productive approach with local stakeholders, including residents and community groups.
