Oliver Goodhall, Co-founding Partner
BSc (Hons) MA RCA
Oliver has a background in both design and architecture. He holds a Masters Degree from the Royal College of Art in Design Interactions, having previously graduated from the Bartlett School of Architecture in 2005.
He has led the practice’s work on a variety of public spaces and urban scale strategies, including an innovative incremental masterplan in Streatham, award-winning interventions in Blackhorse Lane and ambitious proposals to support cycling across the Nine Elms Opportunity Area.
Oliver is a member of the Design South East review panel and Hackney Design Review Panel. He is appointed to the Greater London Authority’s Specialist Assistance Team to help with the shaping and realisation of Mayoral projects across the capital and is a visiting critic on the GLA Mayor’s Design Advisory Group.
Oliver has taught at the Royal College of Art and been an invited critic at Central St Martins, London Metropolitan University, Bartlett School of Urban Design and the Architectural Association, London.
Holly Lewis, Co-founding Partner
BSc (Hons) DipArch MArch ARB
Holly is a registered architect and affiliate member of the Landscape Institute who studied at the Bartlett School of Architecture. She was shortlisted for the AJ Emerging Woman Architect of the Year Award 2012.
She has led a unique range of urban projects for We Made That, from facilitated urban discussion events through to comprehensive high street regeneration in South Croydon. Holly also leads the research portfolio of the practice, which has included studies of local economies and placemaking in the London Legacy area, a ’citizens urban advice bureau’ in Southwark and research into trends in industrial land uses across London.
She continues to pursue her interests in the relationship between policy making and design as a member of the Tower Hamlets Conservation and Design Advisory Panel, as well as being a visiting critic on the GLA Mayor’s Design Advisory Group. She is appointed to the Greater London Authority’s Specialist Assistance Team.
Holly has taught BSc Architecture at the Bartlett School of Architecture, University College London and The Sir John Cass Faculty of Art, Architecture & Design, London Metropolitan University. She has also lectured in the UK and abroad, including Denmark, Spain and Argentina. Holly is a trustee of The Architecture Foundation.
Together, Holly and Oliver run the practice with a talented team of staff from their studio in London.
Nicola Antaki, Project Architect
BA (Hons) MA (RCA) ARB
Nicola is an experienced architect who has worked across a range of projects at We Made That, including play proposals on the edge of the Olympic Park, public realm enhancements in North East Enfield and small scale housing in east London. Nicola previously worked as a project architect at Cottrell & Vermeulen and Macreanor Lavington, where she was responsible for designing schools and playspaces, with a focus on consultation. She has also been working on an independent live practice-led research project ‘a learning architecture’ in Mumbai.
Laida Juanikorena, Project Architect
BA (Hons) MArch ARB
Laida has a range of experience running a wide range of different architectural, urban and design projects in 3 different countries. She previously worked at Wayward Plants, London where she was responsible for Farmopolis on the Greenwich Peninsula and courtyard and playground in LB Kensington & Chelsea, and delivery of civic buildings whilst at Toki Arkitekturak, Basque Country.
At We Made That she is responsible for two civic-focused projects in Wealdstone, including the public realm for Harrow Council’s new Civic Centre and a separate commission to deliver a new public space in the town centre.
Mat Proctor, Senior Urban Designer
BA, B.Des Arch MAUD AssocRTPI
Mat is an experienced urban designer with knowledge of the London regeneration landscape. He joined We Made That in 2016 to lead delivery of large-scale masterplanning projects and influential spatial strategies. As a senior member of the team he works closely alongside the practice partners and is responsible for managing a small project team delivering masterplans and area strategies at a range of scales across the capital.
Prior to joining We Made That, Mat was Principal Urban Design Officer at the London Borough of Hounslow, Design & Planning Advisor at the Design Council and Urban Design Officer at the London Borough of Hackney. These roles included a broad range of work, including design review for major schemes across England, masterplanning of key sites and strategic areas and development of statutory design policy for a Local Plan. This experience within the public sector translates directly into his role at We Made That.
Hannah Martin, Urban Designer
BA (Hons), DipArch, MA
Hannah has been responsible for a broad range of exciting projects in the office, having joined We Made That in 2012. Hannah studied at the University of Sheffield, and subsequently at The CASS, London Metropolitan University where she completed an MA in Spatial Planning and Urban Design in parallel with a Diploma in Architecture.
Her expertise is primarily focused on masterplanning and urban strategies, but has also contributed to key delivery of public open space projects, engagement activities and cultural mapping studies in Bristol and London. Most recently she has been responsible for urban frameworks and strategies in Plumstead, Burnt Oak, Erith and Kingston.
Andrew Reynolds, Urban Designer
MSc (Urbanism), BA (LArch)
Andrew is an urban designer with a track record of a variety projects in the UK, Rotterdam and Melbourne. His experience includes production of masterplans, urban frameworks and strategic plans, as well as public space proposals. At We Made That he is working on key urban frameworks and area plans for local authorities in London.
He has taught at the University of Melbourne, presented at a conferences in Lisbon and Shenzhen on new urban planning approaches, written about production in cities, and spoken on the role of the night time economy at New London Architecture.
Sam Brown, Senior Assistant
BA (hons) Architecture MA RCA
Sam is a talented senior architectural assistant who has worked across a number of urban scale projects in the office, including the Streatham Street Manual, LLDC Local Economy Study and development of growth area proposals in Alperton, Church End, Burnt Oak & Colindale. He has firm conceptual as well as technical and hands on abilities. He has been responsible for delivering We Made That’s recent exhibition projects for the Wellcome Trust and British Council.
He joined We Made That in 2014, having previously worked for space&matter architects in Amsterdam between 2011 and 2013 on urban projects such — as Negen Stegen (9 alleys) and competition proposals to regenerate the disused central market hall in Amsterdam. He completed his Masters at the Royal College of Art in 2016.
Mark Flynn, Senior Assistant
BA (Hons), MArch
Mark joined We Made That in 2015, and has been working on cycling and public realm proposals in Nine Elms for Transport for London, proposals to improve public spaces in a housing estate in the Whitechapel area and high street enhancements in Walworth. He graduated from the Liverpool School of Art & Design with a Masters degree in Architecture in 2013. Shortly following his graduation he was awarded the Deutsche Bank Award in Architecture 2013 and founded ‘RAAD’ - an architecture and urban design collective that promotes the use of vacant and under-used spaces in the city through temporary pop-up architecture and events.
Laura Haenni, Senior Assistant

Laura joined We Made That having previously worked for Adam Khan Architects and 6a Architects on a range of mixed use schemes, commercial and community projects in London. She graduated from ETH Zurich with a diploma and Masters degree in Architecture, having completed a BSc in Architecture in 2011. She now works on a number of projects across the office, including delivery of a high street regeneration programme in Burnt Oak, London.
Melissa Meyer, Urban Researcher

Melissa is an Urban Researcher working on a number of commissioned studies, including incisive research on employment and places of work. Most recently she has been responsible for We Made That’s work on the London Industrial Land Supply and Economy Study commissioned by the Greater London Authority. She has a Masters degree in City Design and Social Science from LSE and degrees in Value & Policy Studies as well as Politics, Philosophy, Economics.
Prior to joining We Made That she worked as a Research and Projects Officer for The Prince’s Foundation for Building Community and coordinator for Future London - the London branch of Our Future Cities, an independent non-profit organisation committed to building a democracy around the future of cities.
Pénélope Seguin, Urban Research Assistant

Pénélope joined We Made That in 2016 having graduated from LSE with a Masters degree in City Design and Social Science. Her Masters thesis investigated the current development trends in London through a case study of the largest ongoing regeneration scheme in London: the King’s Cross regeneration project. She also has degrees in Economics, Political Science and Urban Systems.
Hara Anastasiou, Assistant
Hara joined We Made That in 2015 having graduated from the Sir John Cass Faculty of Art, Architecture and Design. Her degree project proposed an industrial facility at the end of a disused cement works, with the scheme proposed to be developed using an alternative economic model based on ’time-banking’ and shared labour. She has building and interiors experience covering workspace, cultural and commercial projects.
Alastair Johnson, Assistant
Alastair studied architecture at Oxford Brookes University and joined We Made That having previously worked at Metropolitan Workshop. His degree project proposed a series of new judicial courts in Southwark, which has prepared him well for working on new civic-focused projects in Harrow for We Made That.
Max Worrell, Assistant
Max studied architecture at The Bartlett, University College London. Whilst studying, Max ran a series of documentary screenings entitled, ‘Home Sweet Home’, which were intended to provoke discussions about housing and the housing crisis amongst the student body. Max joined We Made That in 2016 having previously worked at Cullinan Studio.
Katie Frost, Practice Manager
Katie is an experienced studio manager whose organisational skills contribute to both general administration and project-specific tasks. Katie joined We Made That in 2016, and is also a commissioned photographer for a number of live music events.
